Double room Dartmoor views Winkleigh village

The room available is a double with a double bed and views of Dartmoor. A desk and more draws and storage are available if required. The house is a well-presented modern home with Wi-Fi and a secluded garden and parking on a quiet estate.
I will be happy to consider short term stays if required, perhaps someone on a work or training placement or house hunting etc.
Meadows, woodlands and open fields are only a 15min walk from the house. Winkleigh is a picturesque village with pubs, post office, doctor’s surgery, and village shop etc, and an active community. Eggesford train station is a 15 minute drive away with hourly trains to Exeter and Barnstaple.
If you are reasonably fit there is good cycling locally with Hatherleigh being 8 miles away which is on cycle route NCN 27.
I enjoy the company and conversation of others but equally respect our need for some peace and quiet.
I enjoy the arts, creativity and making including practical things such as restoring wind-up gramophone players which I like to demonstrate and play publicly and of course I love the music.
I also love the country side and nature I recently put a pond in the garden and a frog and a hedgehog made an appearance the other evening.
I also have a liking for history - a friend said you can experience the passage of time out here which I think is about right.
