Offered for rent, a room in this 3 bedroom semi-detached house on the outskirts of York, only 15 minute walk to the city centre, railway station, St John's University or York Hospital; close to regular public transport routes, this location has good access to, not only the town, but also the popular Clifton Moor Industrial estate, with plenty of shopping, entertainment and dining venues.

The room to rent is the largest bedroom in the house. It has a small TV and a DAB Radio. It has full length fitted wardrobe with full height mirrors providing a very large amount of storage and hanger space. The double bed also has additional slide-out storage for bedding etc. The room is available to rent either to a single occupant for £110 per week (plus 1/3 bills) or to a couple at £200 per week (plus half the bills). This room has a slightly feminine decor so may suit a female occupant over a male. Judge for yourself in the pictures.

The house itself, currently home to one man and his dog, is homely if not too contemporary, with a very comfortable living room with large plasma TV, DVD/BluRay, Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 4, coal-effect gas fire and soft leather sofa-set which is almost impossible to sit in without falling asleep.

The kitchen is fairly standard with a double-oven & microwave, air fryer and a decent set of knives; great for those who love to cook, although Vegans or strict-vegetarians might want to bring their own cookware as this has always been a fairly carniverous household.

Speaking of carnivors, as mentioned, the house is also home to a big dozy dog called Henry Paws - who is very nice, not too needy and very well behaved (usually). If you're not a dog-lover, or you're unfamiliar with the particular joys and challenges that living with a dog brings, this probably isn't the place for you.
